Growing up in Excelsior Springs, MO in the United States has been delightful. I have enjoyed exploring different attractions throughout several states. I have also been able to meet so many people that
have now become my friends. Living in the US has been very rewarding and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to grow up here throughout my life.

This dessert is definitely not a healthy option,
but I think it is okay to eat it every once in a while.
This dish has a large amount of calories and fat
which makes it bad for you, but I do not eat it
very often so I think it is fine if I eat it a few times a

Gourmet Gravy Platter w/ hash browns
On February 6th, I stopped by The Blue Onion on the corner of Tiger Drive and Wornall Road for a big plate of biscuits and gravy with some hash browns. It was around 8:00 am, and I had hoped I'd missed the breakfast crowd. I wasn't expecting a line, but I definitely got one. The line at the breakfast counter was about five people deep when I walked up and another five people were waiting to pay at the register, and there was only one person working in each spot. I had heard the place could get busy, but I did not expect it to be this crazy! Finally, I ordered the gourmet gravy platter with a side of hash browns, and it did not disappoint.

When I sat down to eat my breakfast, I had a feeling that the biscuits would be dry because I had heard some of my friends talking about them. I had no need to worry, though, because my plate of biscuits and gravy was amazing! The gravy had just the right amount of sausage and the biscuits were cooked to perfection. The hash browns were very crispy which I loved because it added a little bit of extra flavor. That alone earned the restaurant some extra points because many places leave their hash browns soggy and wet, which is never good. Needless to say, I was extremely satisfied with my meal at The Blue Onion.
Overall, my experience with the Gourmet Gravy Platter with a side of hash browns was positive. The biscuits and gravy were perfect and the hash browns were nice and crispy. Within minutes of eating my meal, I was glad I tried it. There was absolutely nothing that I would change about the meal, and I’m sure that I could not have done better myself. Next time I visit The Blue Onion, I will make sure to try something else, so as to experience something else off of their menu. If anyone has any questions about the Gourmet Gravy Platter with a side of hash browns, or The Blue Onion itself, leave a comment down below and I’ll get back with you as soon as I can.
