Authentic Italian Lasagna Review
On February 26th, I stopped by Piazza Duomo on Piazza Risorgimento for some lasagna. It was around 11:30 am, and I had hoped I'd missed the lunch crowd. Luckily, I was fortunate and there was not much of a crowd which apparently was very out of character for this restaurant since everyone says they have the best lasagna. I was greeted by a waitress who quickly showed me to a table and took my order as soon as I was ready. Naturally, I ordered lasagna because I had heard so many good things about it.
When I received my plate of lasagna, I was astounded at the size of the meal. I think it could have fed six people! The first bite was wonderful and the lasagna was nice and moist. It was topped with a garnish of basil and lots of fresh mozzarella cheese. It was easily the best piece of lasagna that I had ever had the pleasure of tasting. It was a bit different from the way that we make lasagna in America, but I don’t think that I will ever be able to make lasagna at home again because it would never live up to this!
Overall, my experience with the Authentic Italian Lasagna was extremely positive. It changed my perspective on how true lasagna should taste, and I am extremely pleased with my choice of this meal.
